Skip The Heels and Get Wedding Sneakers

Image
Our standard shoot times are six, eight, and ten hours. That is a long day no matter how much fun we have at our weddings. That is an even longer time to be standing on your feet in heels. Many of our brides opt out of the wedding heel and chose a wedding sneaker instead. Just as fun and significantly more comfortable, our brides who do it swear by it. Not willing to let go of the heels all together? Try heels for the ceremony and formal shoot and switch to a comfortable sneaker or flat so you can dance the night away in comfort. Your feet will thank you! Take a look at how our brides take on the wedding sneaker!

The Beauty of Macro-Lens Shots

Image
The rings are one of the most important parts of a wedding, even if they aren't that big in size. They are such a personal and special gift exchanged between the couple that we make sure to give them the attention they deserve. We use a macro-lens to capture the little details of the hugely importation wedding rings. Inscriptions, special settings, all placed with something from your wedding. We even use it to capture other details like cake toppers, and anything hung around the bouquet. No matter what makes your wedding special, big or very small we will capture it for you to remember for years to come.   Take a look at some examples of the macro-lens at work.

Bilmar Beach Resort - St. Pete

One of them is Tara, the main coordinator for the resort. It is always such a pleasure to work with her and the other awesome coordinator Alyssa.  Both are fantastic wedding planners, they have all their bases covered and produce spectacular weddings time and time again.  The Bilmar penthouse suite makes for some fun pre-ceremony shots and has a really spectacular view overlooking the ceremony site. This way you can look out and see whats going on before we head out. Planning a beach wedding always comes with the risk of having beach-goes in the background. However, the Bilmar and our experience shooting at this venue makes this a non-issue. The expansive sand area makes maneuvering around the mas...

Beach Wedding at the Grand Plaza Hotel

Image
Florida was made for #beachweddings. With the vibrant blue water, plenty of sunshine and palm trees flowing in the breeze. Many brides and grooms love Florida beaches so much that they travel here to have a #destinationwedding. I think every bridal party should wear sunglasses! A few weekends ago we were at the lovely Grand Plaza Hotel on St. Pete Beach capturing a super sweet #beachwedding. The bride totally embraced the #tropicalvibes and incorporated palm leaves mixed with flowers which decorated their bamboo archway. The bride kept her decor on trend by having the flower girls carry signs with cute messages instead of the traditional flowers. The first girls sign said #toolatetorun and the second girls said #herecomesthebride. I love this idea- but I'm a very non-traditional person so it's fun for me to see how people mix it up. Leave a comment if you have any favorite non-traditional wedding idea you've seen people do. The Grand Plaza Hotel. ...
