Beach Wedding at the Grand Plaza Hotel

Florida was made for #beachweddings. With the vibrant blue water, plenty of sunshine and palm trees flowing in the breeze. Many brides and grooms love Florida beaches so much that they travel here to have a #destinationwedding.

I think every bridal party should wear sunglasses!

A few weekends ago we were at the lovely Grand Plaza Hotel on St. Pete Beach capturing a super sweet #beachwedding. The bride totally embraced the #tropicalvibes and incorporated palm leaves mixed with flowers which decorated their bamboo archway. The bride kept her decor on trend by having the flower girls carry signs with cute messages instead of the traditional flowers. The first girls sign said #toolatetorun and the second girls said #herecomesthebride. I love this idea- but I'm a very non-traditional person so it's fun for me to see how people mix it up. Leave a comment if you have any favorite non-traditional wedding idea you've seen people do.

The wedding stayed true to the #beach theme and played reggae music as guests lingered into the reception and served up some delicious seafood for dinner. Props to the Grand Plaza for the awesome salmon with a mango salsa. Talk about great #weddingfood!

The bride and groom shared a sweet dance together and played the #weddingshoegame. It was a sweet way to get to know the two of them better and watch everyone share some laughs. You could feel the love the guests had for the bride and groom. It was truly such a sweet and genuine celebration of love.
